For groups of 10 or more employees, the standard rate applies to the first 10, and a 50% discount kicks in for every employee beyond that.

For groups of 10 or more employees, the standard rate applies to the first 10, and a 50% discount kicks in for every employee beyond that.

**Standard plan includes unlimited ROEs for normal business operations. In cases of unusually high turnover (8+ ROEs monthly for 3+ consecutive months), we reserve the right to review pricing or recommend the PLUS plan for additional HR support to address retention challenges.

***STANDARD Plan - Basic Compliance Support

✅Included:

  • We'll answer compliance questions we know from our professional expertise and experience—no extra charge. This includes:

    • What we can answer immediately:

      • "What's the current minimum wage in Ontario?"

      • "How do I calculate overtime pay?"

      • "What's the stat holiday pay formula?"

      • "When is the T4 deadline?"

      • "How much CPP do I deduct?"

      • "What ROE code do I use for a resignation?"

 

❌ What requires PLUS plan or HR consulting ($150/hour):

  • Questions where we need to research, look up, or call Ontario Employment Standards

  • Questions starting with "Can we..." "Should we..." "What are our obligations if..."

  • Employee-specific situations requiring interpretation

  • Anything requiring more than a quick answer from our professional knowledge

 

Simple rule: If we know the answer off the top of our heads from our expertise—it's included. If we need to look it up, research it, or call someone on your behalf—that's PLUS or billable consulting.

Examples:

  • ✅ Included in STANDARD: "What's the overtime calculation?" (We know this)

  • ❌ Requires PLUS or $150/hr: "Can we deny this employee's unpaid time off request?" (We'd need to research ESA provisions)

**** HR Advisory Support (Plus Plan):
Includes up to 2 hours per month for questions requiring research, interpretation, or action on your behalf:

✅ What's included in your 2 hours:

  • Researching Employment Standards Act provisions

  • Calling Ontario Employment Standards on your behalf

  • Interpreting employment law for specific situations

  • Guidance on employee situations (time off requests, discipline, leaves, terminations)

  • Basic employment contract templates and review

  • Research-based answers to "Can we..." questions

 

Time tracking: In 15-minute increments (0.25 hour minimum). Additional time beyond 2 hours: $150/hour.

 

Common questions using advisory hours:

  • "Can we decline unpaid time off if vacation is used up?" (30 min - requires ESA research)

  • "What are our obligations for this accommodation request?" (45 min - requires research & interpretation)

  • "What do we legally need to provide for this termination?" (1 hour - requires research & documentation)

  • "Can we implement this policy change?" (30 min - requires legal review)
